I usually ride from here. It's a great starting point with plenty of space for parking trucks and trailers.
It's a popular launching point for the trails in districts 9 and 4. Cost is $5.50 to park your truck and trailer there (normal park fees). Gas is located in Lake Belwood but also in Aurthur or Mount Forest. There's some good eating locations on the trails and they are smooth with a combination of fields and forests. The trails are really good for riding - especially with the vintages as it can be much harder riding them in the muskoka bump and grind.
I ride all over ontario, and I know a lot of riders that just head due north everytime past this district, but I can say if you like smooth trails with a mix of open field and forest riding you should check out this region. It's closer and many times even better.
